Join Illinois author Raluca Barbu to discuss her new book, American Vacation: 12,000 Miles Into the Wild West. It tells her story as a writer from an ex-communist country who experienced the great outdoors of the emblematic American West as she and her husband traveled 12,000 miles for 45 days across 19 states. Raluca will share about her travel adventures and writing experiences, read from her book, and share her photographs from the trip.
