30 minutes full of short stories, finger plays, rhymes, and songs help parents or caregivers interact with their children for reading readiness. For ages 24 months to 3 years.

Caregivers and babies enjoy 25 minutes of baby bounces, finger plays, short stories, and playtime. For ages 6 to 24 months.

45 minutes full of reading readiness, finger plays, rhymes, short stories, and songs prepares children for school and independence. For ages 3 to 6 years.

Come spent time with your children in our exciting, musically rich environment that encourages your child to explore the joys of music. Join children ages 1 to 5 years and the grown-ups who love them in the fun of moving, singing, and playing instruments.

Book discussion groups meet once a month on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10:30 AM to Noon and Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8 PM. Books are available for checkout one month in advance of each session.

Come to the library to read to a Nationally Certified Therapy Dog! Animals are ideal reading companions because they are an attentive, non-judgmental listener. Children sign up for ONE 15 minute reading session and must be ages 6 and up. Please note that participants must be signed up for the Summer Reading Program in order to participate in this program.

Join us for 30 minutes of theme-based crafts for ages 2 to 5 years. Dress for a mess!

Grab your mom or favorite female adult. This club reads one selection a month. After reading the selection at home, the group will meet at the library to talk about the book, complete a fun activity related to the book and have a snack. Space is limited to 10 mother/daughter couples. Books are available for checkout at the Children's Services Circulation Desk one month prior to scheduled meeting.
