Week Calendar

Enjoy 30 minutes of short stories, finger plays, rhymes, and songs with Miss Blaine. In this program parents or caregivers interact with their children and discover the joy of reading. For ages 24 months to 3 years.

Enjoy 20 minutes of baby bounces, rhymes, short stories, finger plays and 10 minutes of playtime.  Registration is required. Registration closes at 4:00 p.m. the Saturday before each session. 

Join us on the patio (outside the Youth Services program Room) for a variety of outdoor activities, crafts, and stories. 

Enjoy spending 30 minutes full of reading readiness, finger plays, rhymes, short stories, and songs that prepare children for school. Children are encouraged to attend story time independent of caregivers. For ages

Slather on your sunscreen and join us at the Baumann Park picnic shelter by the playground for a 30 minute all ages story time! Registration is recommended (to receive reminders), but not required.

Rockford, Illinois and Its Industrial Heritage 

Trace the evolution of Rockford’s Industrial past from agriculture to furniture to fasteners, machine tool and aerospace.

Come spend 30 minutes with Miss Sue in our musically rich environment, singing, dancing, and listening to stories. For ages 1-5. Registration is required.

Meet Miss Heather at Collins Aerospace as we tour the factory and participate in a STEM activity. Pick up time is 3:00. Details and directions will be emailed in advance.

Did you know pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in America today? Join us at the tennis courts in Baumann Park to learn the basics and get some practice!

Registration required due to limited space. 

Join us at Old School Park for some outdoor fun! Game equipment will be provided like giant tower blocks, cornhole, frisbee toss, and more! Grab some family and friends and enjoy the outdoors.
