Program Description
Description
Meet Fran at the Boone County Historical Museum at 314 S State St in Belvidere. A trained museum docent will take guests on a guided tour of the new historical exhibits for 2019, including a reproduction Victorian Parlor, Blacksmith Shop, vignettes of both, an 1850's one-room school, and a 1930's classroom. After enjoying the museum, if you would like, we will go next door to the Steam Plant restaurant to view their historical pictures of the National Sewing Machine Company and to enjoy a wonderful lunch!
Registration is required for this program. Admission to the museum is being paid by the library.
